"Those Were the Days" will take a look back at music of the 60s. Come sing along to some of your favourite tunes from this amazing decade of music. A decade when “Baby Boomers” were teenagers and had found a voice in popular music. By the early ‘60s a cultural revolution was underway. Listen to songs of the Folk Revival, songs inspired by the Vietnam War, songs from the British Invasion, folk rock and progressive rock. Music we still listen to today.

The concerts will be held on Friday, May 10th at 7pm as well as Sunday, May 12th at 2pm. This is Mother's Day, so might be a fun afternoon for mom. Advance tickets are $15 and available through band members, St. Mark's Church and at Mulberry Bush Book Stores in Parksville and Qualicum. Tickets are $20 at the door.

Band members: Barb Hicks (vocals), Richard de Candole (vocals and guitar), Dave Klinger (vocals and keyboard), Michael Wright (percussion) and Wally Petersen (bass guitar).

It's going to be a lot of fun.
