On September 19th at 2:30 PM, The QUARANTONES will perform a concert of sea shanties at the Anglican Parish of St Mark in Qualicum Beach. Sea shanties are traditional maritime work songs sung by sailors to coördinate labour and boost morale.
This concert is in support of the St Mark’s Centennial Windows project to install four new stained glass windows designed by Qualicum First Nation artist Jesse Recalma.
