Altar Guild
The Altar Guild faithfully tends to the care, preparation, cleaning and storage of all aspects of sacramental life, preparing the altar and credence table for each service, maintaining the elements for communion and arranging flowers to beautify the church.

Worship Assistants
Lay participation in the liturgies of the church is encouraged and invited and comprises greeters, readers, intercessors, eucharistic ministers, prayer team, crucifer/server and sidepersons.

Choir / Music
The Parish of St. Mark Choir meet weekly on Thursday at 11:15 to prepare for Sunday services. The choir is especially busy at Christmas and Easter. The choir and its leader take great care of each other and feel this ministry is very much centered in its people. It is their pleasure to sing praises and work together every Sunday to bring the joy of music to the 10 am service.
The Parish of St. Mark Bell Choir meet weekly on Tuesday at 3:30. The bell choir plays at several services throughout the church year. The bell choir has also participated in public afternoon performances that included poetry readings and choral music. Everyone is welcome to join these groups to be a blessing to the congregation in building the parish family.

Healing Prayer Ministry
All encounters with God are healing. The healing prayer ministry team all believe this to be true and, while all of us have ways of praying alone, encourage people to come and pray with us whether for themselves or another. Our goal is to let Jesus’ love flow through our hearts, our hands and our words into the person who comes for prayer.
Two team members are in the Narthex during and after communion at the 10 a.m. service and near the side exit immediately after the service.
We are also always looking for new pray-ers to join our team so if you feel called to pray for others please contact the Rector at incumbent@stmarkqualicum.ca or call 250-752-5414.
