The Meditation Garden of St Mark is now open and “dedicated” to God’s glory. If you’ve never walked the roadway between the upper and lower parking lot off of Hoylake Road, you may have missed the lovely tranquil spot now dedicated to be a place for gathering, conversation and fellowship (CoVid style - maximum of 8 people at a time). We are looking for extra folding chairs or an umbrella to shade the sun, if you have any to donate, we’d be happy to set them up for you. Feel free to drop these items in the garden.

The Prayer Chain of St Mark is once again ready to take your prayer requests. We have not stopped praying, but we have been working with a new coordinator, Phyllis Thompson, oblatebc@telus.net. The prayer chain is a very important ministry within the parish.  People who have health or other problems find strength in knowing they are being prayed for.  It is a ministry that can involve parishioners who can no longer be active in the other ministries. Even people without faith or people from around the world can make requests.  Please call Phyllis Thompson at 1-250-751-2894 with any prayer requests. If you are requesting prayers for another person, please make sure you have their permission.
