What a wonderful afternoon! Lots of little ones and their adults had a great afternoon dressing up, hearing the story of Jesus' birth, singing carols, receiving communion and leaving with their gifts. All the children who attended dressed up as angels, shephards, kings, Mary, Joseph and little baby Jesus. Everyone came up to the alter as they were called. It was a true Christmas blessing to have so many smiling faces in our sanctuary. Many thanks to David Hitchcock who played the piano, Richard de Candole and Jack Wreggit for playing guitar, Wendy de Candole for reading the story, and Rev. Elizabeth for hosting and serving communion. Thanks also to Susan, Pam and all those who helped behind the scenes with costumes, organizing etc. Just take a look at the photos of today's Messy Pageant - you're going to wish you were there!

If this looks like fun, make sure to check out Messy Church. Starting in January 2019 we will be enjoying getting together for this messy fun every fourth Saturday at 4pm. Watch this website for details.
