Barbara Hicks has been in the communications field as a graphic designer and illustrator her whole life. Most of her career was spent in Manitoba where she ran a successful design business for 35 years. Clients like the Manitoba government and University of Manitoba kept her busy. As an illustrator, she illustrated three children's books with Fred Penner and animated many spots for Sesame Street in the nineties. She is now very incolved with ECHO Players in Qualicum Beach as Marketing Manager, Board member and actor/singer.
Always involved with the Anglican Church, Barb has been singing in choirs most of her life. She was Rector's warden at two churches in Winnipeg, and looks forward to drawing from her life experiences at St. Mark's.
