Neil was born in Ipswich, England and moved with his parents to Northern Ireland a year later. He and his wife Maggie, who were high school sweethearts, married in 1975 and moved to Canada in 1977. They have two daughters, Emma and Lydia, and three grandchildren.
Neil worked in the fields of electronics and computers as they relate to security. He retired from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in 2011 after 31 years of service.
Neil and Maggie moved to Qualicum Beach in 2012 where they are active members of the community and of St Mark’s. He has served as warden both at Christ Church Aylmer, QC and at St George’s Fort Langley, BC. Neil is honoured to have been chosen as People’s Warden by the Parish and prays that with God’s guidance he will live up to their trust.
