Andrea grew up in the Anglican tradition in the Lower Mainland but spent many summer vacations visiting family on Vancouver Island.
While obtaining her B.A. in history she lived and worked at the Vancouver School of Theology housing. After graduating she worked for the UBC Museum of Anthropology and then spent ten years as the Communications Manager of a national financial software and services provider. She is the principal of Absolutely Literate specialising in research, editing, and writing. She regularly writes and speaks about researching your family history.
Andrea moved to Parksville in late 2024 and is enjoying the beauty and quiet of the area. Andrea is delighted to come on board as the Parish Administrator for the Anglican Parish of St. Mark.
