We had a lovely "red and white" lunch after the 10am service on Sunday, September 23rd for Rev. Michael Deck and his lovely wife Jane. It was a lively little soiree complete with a funny skit featuring Janet Dol and Denise Mottle spoofing Michael and the Bishop. Keith Denford and David Hitchcock serenaded Michael with a lovely "farewell" song. Cynthia and Neil presented Michael and Jane with our lovely new mugs with flowers, gift certificate and BC chocolates. Many thanks to Ursula and the kitchen crew for putting on a delicious meal.
Although Rev. Elizabeth Northcott officially takes over September 24th, Michael will be officiating at the service on September 30, as she has to attend Synod that weekend.
Your service has been much appreciated Michael. Much happiness and God speed as you head down south this winter.
