What a lovely afternoon it was... it all began with a delicious meal of lasagna and shephard's pie which was prepared and served up by the Men's Club. Elizabeth welcomed members of the parish as well as friends from her previous parishes and family. Her proud mom, Phyllis, was there, as was her sister and brother-in-law. Good friend and verger John Taylor attended the lunch as well.

The service began at 2pm with The Right Reverend Logan McMenamie presiding. Bishop Logan was joined by Regional Archdeacon Lincoln McKoen and Deacon Margaret Misener as all who attended renewed their baptismal vows. The choir sang a beautiful rendition of "When in Our Music God is Glorified". Elizabeth was welcomed to our church in the Covenent of Ministry and a long and loud applause followed. Chief Michael Recalma was welcomed by the Bishop, as well as many clergy and sisters from the surrounding area. We ended the service with a group shot of choir, clergy, laypersons and canonical committee on the altar (see photo).

Dessert and coffee followed in the hall where Elizabeth was presented with a card and gift from the congregation.
